The General is back.

Paramount+ has just dropped the official teaser trailer for Season 3 of Tulsa King, and Sylvester Stallone’s mobster-turned-Oklahoma-boss Dwight Manfredi isn’t wasting time getting back to business.

Premiering Sunday, September 21, the new season picks up not long after Season 2’s cliffhanger finale, where Dwight was dragged out of bed by a group of masked men who warned, “You work for us now.” The trailer doesn’t confirm exactly who “they” are, but one thing’s clear: Dwight made it out, and he’s got a new target in mind — the Montague Distillery.

“The distillery is an interesting business,” Manfredi says in the trailer. “And we got to know the enemy.”

And the enemy is no joke. Enter Jeremiah Dunmire, played by 1923 alum Robert Patrick. He’s the patriarch of a powerful, old-money Tulsa family who plays by a different set of rules — none of which work in Dwight’s favor. According to Paramount+, the Dunmires are this season’s major antagonists, posing a serious threat to everything Dwight has built.

That’s not Dwight’s only problem.

The trailer also shows him drawing a gun on Frank Grillo’s Bill Bevilaqua, the Kansas City mob boss who tried to outmaneuver him in Season 2. Enemies are coming from all sides — old money, old grudges, and now… old prison friends.

That’s where Samuel L. Jackson comes in.

Jackson joins Tulsa King this season as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a former inmate who did a decade-long stretch with Manfredi. He arrives in Tulsa on orders from the New York-based Renzetti crime family — the same family that once employed Dwight — and he’s got one mission: take him out.

Whether or not he succeeds is one thing. But we already know this story isn’t ending in Tulsa.

Washington’s story will spin off into NOLA King, a newly greenlit Paramount+ series that follows him back to New Orleans, where he plans to rebuild his life, reconnect with his family, and build a criminal empire of his own. First, though, he has to survive Dwight.

“They’re threatening everybody in my life,” Dwight warns in the trailer. “If you think you’re going to take me out, it’s going to be really difficult.”

Season 3 stars Sylvester Stallone, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, Garrett Hedlund, Dana Delany, and now Samuel L. Jackson.

Created by Taylor Sheridan, the series continues to be a massive hit for Paramount+, with Season 2 drawing over 21 million global viewers for its premiere episode. Tulsa King remains the streamer’s No. 1 global original series.

Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, Tulsa King is executive produced by Sheridan, Stallone, showrunner Dave Erickson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, and Keith Cox.
