11 Join Kerry Washington and Alano Miller in Season 2 of Audible’s ‘The Prophecy’

The battle between faith and fear is far from over. Audible’s Bible-inspired supernatural thriller The Prophecy returns for its second season on Thursday, Sept. 25, with Kerry Washington back as Dr. Virginia Edwards — and a powerhouse lineup joining her, including Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Dulé Hill (Psych), Ebony Obsidian (If Beale Street Could Talk), and returning cast member Alano Miller (Cherish the Day).

Season 1, which debuted in 2022, introduced listeners to Virginia — a brilliant doctor who survived assassination attempts, natural disasters, and the shocking vision that she may be the Virgin Mary. By the end, she uncovered that her infant son Joshua could hold the key to humanity’s survival.

Season 2 picks up with Virginia on the run with Joshua, pursued by billionaire cult leader Luther Bell (Esposito). Joined by her estranged husband Ryan (Miller) and mysterious allies like Moses (Hill), she has just one month to decode the prophecy’s meaning and stop Bell’s rise to power before the world descends into chaos.

Also starring Rhenzy Feliz (The Penguin), Eme Ikwuakor (On My Block), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), Annie Gonzalez (Flamin’ Hot), Guillermo Diaz (Scandal), Crystal Fox (The Haves and the Have Nots), Roz Stanley (Girl, Chill), and Mara Shuster-Lefkowitz (Searching for Sisterhood), the season promises higher stakes, explosive drama, and new revelations that expand the Prophecy universe.

Directed by Malakai (The Chi) and written by Diandra Pendleton-Thompson (Star Trek: Prodigy), The Prophecy is produced by Audible, Washington’s Simpson Street, and QCode. The series will be available in Dolby Atmos exclusively on Audible.
