What’s Season 2 About?
Unlike Season 1 — which followed an unsuspecting juror navigating a completely fabricated trial — the new installment shifts settings.
This time, the story unfolds at a corporate offsite retreat for a family-owned hot sauce company. The series centers on Anthony, a newly hired temp who believes he’s attending a routine company getaway.
He’s not.
Just like Ronald Gladden in Season 1, Anthony has no idea that:
- Every colleague around him is an actor
- The entire retreat is staged
- Every meeting, bonding activity, and moment of tension has been carefully orchestrated
As the company’s founder prepares to step down, the retreat becomes a battle between big corporate ambition and small-business values — fitting into this season’s reported theme: David vs. Goliath.
And to preserve the magic? Production was handled in total secrecy, just like the first installment.
