With ‘The Best Man’ Leading With 18 Noms -- The 2023 Black Reel Television Awards Nominees Are....

The Seventh Annual Black Reel Television Awards (BoltsTV) has announced its nominees, recognizing outstanding achievements in the industry.

This year will have an inclusion of gender-neutral categories in acting and supporting acting. And the nominees blend nostalgia with fresh talent in the recognition of outstanding achievements.

The Best Man: The Final Chapters leads the pack with a groundbreaking eighteen nominations, while showrunner Malcolm D. Lee secures three nods of his own. Donald Glover takes the lead in personal nominations with five, closely followed by Quinta Brunson with four. Abbott Elementary shines with sixteen nominations, surpassing Atlanta’s eight. Peacock streaming service dominates with twenty-five nominations, closely followed by Netflix with twenty. The winners will be unveiled at the ceremony on August 14, 2023, at 8pm ET.
