ABC has dropped the first-look photos for 9-1-1: Nashville, giving us our first glimpse at the newest chapter in the hit first responders franchise. The series will premiere on Wednesday, October 9, at 9 p.m. ET.
The ensemble cast includes Hailey Kilgore, Juani Feliz, Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, Michael Provost, Hunter McVey, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
Created by Ryan Murphy, Tim Minear, and Rashad Raisani, the spinoff is described as a high-octane procedural following heroic first responders while diving into a family saga of power, glamour, and grit — all set against the backdrop of one of America’s most vibrant and diverse cities.
O’Donnell stars as Captain Don Sharpe, a veteran firefighter and former rodeo star who runs the Nashville firehouse alongside his modern-day cowboy son Ryan (Provost). Capshaw plays Blythe Sharpe, Don’s wife and Ryan’s mother.
Kilgore steps into the role of Taylor Thompson, a firefighter and singer, while Feliz plays Roxie Alba, a former trauma surgeon-turned-adrenaline junkie firefighter. Country music icon LeAnn Rimes will portray Dixie Bennings, mother of Blue (McVey), a firefighter and former stripper. Williams-Paisley plays Cammie Raleigh, a sharp and steady 911 dispatcher.
9-1-1: Nashville is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television. Murphy, Minear, and Raisani serve as executive producers and writers, with Raisani also serving as showrunner. Chris O’Donnell, Brad Buecker, Brad Falchuk, and Angela Bassett are also on board as executive producers.
