‘It’s time to finish the road, last one there is a nice person,’ says Kathryn Hahn, reprising her role as Agatha Harkness, in the latest trailer for Marvel’s ‘Agatha All Along.’ The much-anticipated trailer, unveiled during the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, offers fans a glimpse of the perilous journey that lies ahead for Agatha as she navigates the treacherous Witches’ Road.
The new trailer, which debuted during Marvel’s big presentation on Friday night, teases a dark and magical world where Agatha, stripped of her powers by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) at the end of WandaVision, is determined to reclaim her magic. With a coven of witches by her side, Agatha sets out on a mystical quest, facing trials that could either restore her power or lead to her doom.
Some of the show’s stars, including Sasheer Zamata, Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Miles Gutierrez, Ali Ahn, and Patti LuPone, joined Hahn and showrunner Jac Schaeffer to preview the upcoming series. The cast promises a unique blend of horror and witchcraft, with each trial on the Witches’ Road presenting a new challenge and a new look for the coven. From 1970s-inspired ensembles to Wicked Witch of the West vibes, the show embraces its witchy roots in every sense.
The trailer also offers a first listen to a new jingle, ‘Down, down, down the Road, down the Witches’ Road,’ which echoes through the haunting landscape as Agatha and her coven face the trials ahead.
Fans can expect to see Hahn’s Agatha channel her inner Wicked Witch of the West, while Patti LuPone’s Lilia Calderu channels Glinda, as the coven navigates the Road’s magical gauntlet. The series also features returning cast members from WandaVision, including Debra Jo Rupp as Sharon Davis.
‘She took every bit of power I had, and I can be that witch again,’ Hahn’s Agatha declares in a teaser trailer released last month, hinting at the fierce determination driving her character’s journey.
Agatha All Along, executive produced by Schaeffer, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and Mary Livanos, kicks off with its first two episodes on September 18, exclusively on Disney+. The series promises to be a spooky, spellbinding ride just in time for the Halloween season.
