‘Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ Season 3 Trailer: The Team’s Toughest Case Yet + Malcolm-Jamal Warner Joins the Action

Fox just dropped the official trailer for Alert: Missing Persons Unit Season 3, and it looks like the stakes have never been higher. This time, the MPU isn’t just chasing down missing persons—they’re racing against the clock to find one of their own.

And stepping in to keep the team in check? None other than Malcolm-Jamal Warner as Chief Inspector Bill Houston.

Houston, a former Army Captain, is all about discipline, structure, and playing by the book. But when it comes to MPU’s unconventional methods—especially Jason Grant’s (Scott Caan) more… let’s call them cowboy-esque tactics—Houston isn’t exactly a fan. However, when the results speak for themselves, even the toughest rule enforcers start to rethink their playbook. Before long, Houston becomes the unexpected father figure the MPU never realized they needed.

Season 3 kicks off with cases that push the team to their limits, from a collegiate rowing team vanishing mid-training to a missing street artist whose bone marrow donation is his brother’s only shot at survival. But the biggest twist? Nikki Batista (Dania Ramirez) is missing, and the MPU must drop everything to bring her home.

As if that’s not enough pressure, Nikki’s entanglement with Irish mob boss Charlie McGannon (guest star Ian Tracey) only adds fuel to the fire. With her life on the line and the team navigating uncharted territory, the MPU is in for its most personal and high-stakes season yet.

Alert: Missing Persons Unit is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment, with Carla Kettner serving as showrunner alongside executive producers Jon Cowan, Brandon Sonnier, Brandon Margolis, Sean Hennen, John Eisendrath, Jamie Foxx, Datari Turner, and Brad Turner.

The action-packed third season premieres Tuesday, March 25 at 9 PM on Fox.

Check out the trailer and buckle up—this season is about to be a wild ride.
