The North American Tour of BOOP! The Musical has announced its full cast of 28, with Aliya Grace leading the company as Betty Boop.
Joining Grace are Mason Ballard as Dwayne, Ashia Collins as Carol Evans, Michelle Jennings as Valentina, Dan Mason as Grampy, Joshua Woodie as Raymond Demarest, Ashley Calderon as Trisha, Adam Clarke as Pudgy and Kevin W. Egan as Oscar Delacorte. Rounding out the ensemble are Neema Muteti, Evan Michael Vaughan, Helena Elizabeth Laing, Kevin Bowman, Christian J. Collins, Leah Faye, Kayla Goins, Eric Gonzalez, Jesse Hanks, Izzy Herz, Anya Katherine Jones, Jaxon Keller, Elie Kuppermann, Ava Madara, Annalise Northway, PJ Palmer, Jake Tomé Rotz, Kenneth Sweeney, and Devyn Trondson.
“Building the cast for BOOP! has been an incredible journey, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to finally share this extraordinary group of performers with the world,” said director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell, who helmed the original Broadway production. “We cannot wait to take this show on the road and bring pure joy and laughter to audiences across the country.”
Grace makes her national tour debut in the role. Her credits include Kiss Me, Kate and Sweet Charity at Artistry Theatre, as well as the world premiere of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical at Children’s Theatre Company. She is also an American Idol Season 2 alumna and a National YoungArts Week winner.
The tour officially launches October 3 at Rochester, New York’s West Herr Auditorium Theatre, running through October 10. Additional tour cities and dates will be announced.
BOOP! The Musical features direction for the tour re-created by DB Bonds and choreography re-created by Rachelle Rak, based on the original Broadway production directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. The show features a score by Grammy winner David Foster, lyrics by Tony Award nominee Susan Birkenhead and a book by Tony Award winner Bob Martin.
The original Broadway production received three Tony Award nominations and won three Drama Desk Awards and three Outer Critics Circle Awards before closing on July 13, 2025. The Original Broadway Cast Recording is available now on streaming and digital platforms.
