Allen Brown II Unveils ‘Fang Jackson’ Trailer and Launches Creator-Owned Streaming Platform LLOID

Independent filmmaker Allen Brown II has released the first trailer for his latest film, Fang Jackson, alongside the launch of LLOID, a creator-owned streaming and membership platform designed to operate outside traditional Hollywood and ad-driven systems.

Set in 1945, Fang Jackson leans into atmosphere and restraint, with the trailer prioritizing tension, silence, and emotional undercurrents over exposition. The preview suggests a story shaped by inherited history—where identity begins to form long before its characters have the language to define it.

The film stars Le Gianna Tran, Zen Luong, and Ronaldo Medina, with Tricia Fukuhara serving as host for the project’s rollout. Fang Jackson is written and directed by Brown, whose work continues to center intimate storytelling rooted in cultural memory.

The trailer’s release also marks the public debut of LLOID, a subscriber-supported platform built to support independent films without relying on advertising or traditional gatekeeping structures. The model is designed to fund future projects directly through audience support, allowing creators to retain ownership of their work.

Rather than positioning Fang Jackson as a standalone release, the film serves as an early example of LLOID’s broader vision—pairing intentional storytelling with a sustainable, creator-first approach to distribution.

Brown’s path into filmmaking did not follow a conventional Hollywood trajectory. A life-altering injury that resulted in the loss of his eye later redirected his focus toward storytelling grounded in faith, purpose, and cultural memory.

He is also the creator of I’m Housin’, with work that emphasizes the small, often overlooked moments that shape identity, resilience, and legacy.
