Hulu’s hit series Deli Boys returns for its second season on May 28, with an expanded cast of recurring and guest stars. Robin Thede will guest star alongside Lilly Singh, while Andrew Rannells and Kumail Nanjiani recur on the series. Fred Armisen joins the main cast, and Tan France returns as Zubair, the British-Pakistani gangster, alongside series regulars Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and Poorna Jagannathan.
Created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner and Nora Silver, Deli Boys follows brothers Mir and Raj Dar (Ali and Shaikh) as they inherit their father Baba’s secret criminal empire. Poorna Jagannathan stars as Naveeda “Lucky,” Baba’s confidant and crime boss auntie.
In the Season 1 finale, the Dar brothers struggled to manage Baba’s hidden drug trafficking operation, disguised as a deli, while dealing with the fallout of their father’s sudden death. The brothers attempted to maintain the business, which involved trafficking cocaine in pickled mango jars (Caca Brand achar), with support from Lucky Aunty and their father’s partner, Ahmad Uncle (Brian George). The season highlighted their comedic incompetence and chaotic navigation of a criminal enterprise they were ill-equipped to run.
Season 2 picks up with the Dars drowning in dirty cash while facing mounting pressure from Philly’s sketchiest crooks. Fred Armisen joins the main cast as Max Sugar, a legendary casino king and money launderer whose unpredictable behavior shakes up the underworld. Rannells recurs as Andrew Chadwater, a politically ambitious district attorney, and Nanjiani as Danyal, a defense attorney hired by Max Sugar. Thede portrays Dr. Iverson, a couples therapist with questionable ethics, while Singh plays Aisha, the obsessed wife of Maalik Ali (Shahjehan Khan).
The series is produced by Onyx Collective and 20th Television, with Michelle Nader serving as showrunner and Saeed, Konner, and Silver as executive producers.
Deli Boys Season 2 premieres on Hulu on May 28, 2026.
