Andrew ‘King Bach’ Bachelor, Tony Baker, Karlous Miller, and More Join Lil Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish in Horror-Comedy ‘Haunted Heist’

Haunted Heist has expanded its cast with the additions of Andrew ‘King Bach’ Bachelor (The Babysitter), Tony Baker (One of Them Days), Karlous Miller (Wild ‘N Out), Brett Gelman (Stranger Things), Ari Dayan (Entitled), and newcomer Tara Terry. They join previously announced leads Lil Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish in the upcoming horror-comedy.

Currently in pre-production, Haunted Heist marks Howery’s directorial debut and reunites him with Haddish following their work together on The Carmichael Show, Uncle Drew, and their Best Friends Comedy Tour.

Written by Mr. Crocket scribe Carl Reid, the film follows four estranged friends who reconnect at what seems to be an ordinary house. One friend secretly plans to rob the home and needs the others’ help to locate a priceless antique. But the house is haunted, and the group must face off with a chaotic group of ghosts to make it through the night.

“Casting actors who also do stand-up comedy was so important to me,” said Howery. “I believe some of our greatest actors come from the stand-up world, whether they are doing comedy or dramatic roles, and I wanted to display that range in this movie to merge the world of horror and comedy.”

Howery is also producing the film alongside Josh Feldman and Jesse Ford (Mr. Crocket) and Sean King O’Grady (I Love My Dad). Executive producers include Feras M. Shammami, Priscilla Ross Smith, and Kendall Anlian. James McMillan (Twisted Metal) is serving as director of photography, with Shane Patrick Ford (The Mill) as editor.

Haunted Heist is expected to begin filming in January 2025. Worldwide sales are being handled by The Coven, the company behind Terrifier 3 and the upcoming Shadow of God, which is set for release on Shudder in April 2025.
