Netflix revealed the cast of their new animated movie Wendell & Wild which is led by Key and Peele‘s Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
Angela Bassett, Lyric Ross, Saweetie, Tamara Smart, Ving Rhames, James Hong, Gabrielle Dennis, Igal Naor, David Harewood, Tantoo Cardinal, Natalie Martinez, Maxine Peake, Saweetie, Ramona Young, Sam Zelaya, Seema Virdi, and Gary Gatewood star in the stop motion film.

Wendell & Wild is an animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and WILD (Peele) – who enlist the aid of 13-year-old Kat Elliot – a tough teen with a load of guilt – to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the law of life and death.
The film is directed by Henry Selick based on a script he wrote with Peele and will be released around Halloween.
Selick is producing with Ellen Goldsmith-Vein for The Gotham Group, and Peele and Win Rosenfeld for Monkeypaw, with The Gotham Group’s Lindsay Williams and Eddie Gamarra exec producing alongside Monkeypaw’s Kamil Oshundara and Ian Cooper. Oscar nominee Bruno Coulais (Les Choristes) is providing the score.
