Anthony Anderson to Reprise His Role in Law & Order Revival

Anthony Anderson is set to reprise his role in the Law & Order revival for its upcoming season 21.

The show which ended after 20 seasons will pick up where it left off and will once again examine “the police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders.”

The show originally ended in 2010 after 450-plus episodes and 20 seasons since its debut in 1999.

Anderson, inked a one-year deal to reprise his role as Detective Kevin Bernard, which he played on Seasons 18-20 of Law & Order. He joins Hugh Dancy who will star as an assistant district attorney and Jeffery Donovan as a detective.

The new old Law & Order comes from showrunner Rick Eid and Dick Wolf. Law & Order is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group. Wolf, Eid, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski are executive producers.

The Law & Order Revival is set to premiere on NBC on February 24.

Anderson can currently be seen in ABC’s Black-ish, which is heading into its 8th and final season.
