Asia’h Epperson, Mike Merrill, Kamel Goffin, and Stephen Cofield Jr. Star in Holiday Film A Memorable Christmas, Premiering on AspireTV

AspireTV will premiere A Memorable Christmas on Friday, December 4 at 9 p.m. ET, part of the network’s Holiday Homecoming lineup. The film stars Asia’h Epperson, Mike Merrill, Kamel Goffin, and Stephen Cofield Jr.

A Memorable Christmas follows Harper Freeman, a commercial real estate attorney, as she returns home for the holidays and discovers her firm plans to demolish a community center where she’s been volunteering to teach girls dance. Epperson, known for Straight Outta Compton and Greenleaf, leads a cast that includes Merrill (Tyler Perry’s Straw, All American), Goffin (Atlanta, Godfather of Harlem), and Cofield Jr. (Prime’s Harlem, Blue Bloods). Tina Rodriguez, aspireTV’s senior director of content strategy and acquisitions, described the film as a reminder that home is shaped by community and connection, calling Harper’s story a reflection of the power of giving back and preserving spaces that uplift future generations.

A Memorable Christmas anchors a broader Holiday Homecoming slate running from November 6 through December, including The Love Doctor, Kiss Me for Christmas, A Heart for Christmas, Holiday Bae, and A Christmas Gift, alongside the returning Chandler Family Christmas franchise starring Malinda Williams and Victoria Rowell. The full schedule spans dozens of airings and encores through late December, with A Memorable Christmas receiving repeat broadcasts on December 6, 13, 20, and Christmas Day itself.

AspireTV, part of UP Entertainment’s portfolio alongside UPtv and UP Faith & Family, positions itself as a network built specifically around reflecting Black culture, life, and style. A full holiday slate this dense, built entirely around original movies with predominantly Black casts airing across a single network’s own original programming block, reflects a model distinct from the scattered, one-off holiday representation Black audiences have had to search for across larger networks in years past.

AspireTV is available through Xfinity, DirecTV, DirecTV Stream, DISH, Frndly TV, Philo, Sling, Spectrum TV, and Verizon Fios TV, with additional access details available at aspire.tv/channel.
