BET+ has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming original film War Dawgz, which will premiere exclusively on the streamer Thursday, October 16.
The cast is stacked with familiar faces, stars from the 90s and a girlfriends reunion: Michael Beach, Kadeem Hardison, Golden Brooks, Jill Marie Jones, Carl Anthony Payne II, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Walter Jones, Brandon Quinton Adams, Moriah Brown, Raven-Symoné, and Kevin Grevioux.
Directed and written by Grevioux, War Dawgz is set in Compton, California, and tells the story of a community forced to rise up when a foreign invasion takes aim at their neighborhood. Cut off from the outside world, a patchwork group of everyday citizens — from church leaders and police officers to rival gang members — must unite to defend their streets and reclaim their home.
At the center is Alonzo Rocker (Michael Beach), a stern military father who returns home from deployment only to find his family and community under siege. His leadership quickly makes him the focal point of resistance as neighbors band together in an against-the-odds fight for survival.

- Golden Brooks as Officer Erin Sanders, a cop who protects both her badge and her people.

- Carl Anthony Payne II as Vic Valentine, the sharp-tongued mechanic ready for action.
- Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs as Lawrence Slate, a mortician with unexpected grit.
- Walter Jones as Eddie Ivory, a history teacher turned fighter.
- Brandon Quinton Adams as Cedric Grier, a social worker who won’t back down.
- Moriah Brown as Michelle Warfield, a determined officer standing alongside Sanders.
- Raven-Symoné as Pam, a nurse whose bravery makes her the community’s caretaker and fighter.
- Kevin Grevioux himself as Jericho, a war veteran and eccentric survivalist with a hidden arsenal.
War Dawgz comes from executive producers Jason Harvey, Matthew Macur, Jim Burleson, and Kurt Van Fossen, with Kevin Weisberg, Damien Douglas, and Ryan D. Adams producing. The score is composed by Brett Winters.
The film weaves action, drama, and community resilience into a high-stakes story that highlights unity in the face of devastation.
