Average Joe Season 2 hits Paramount+ on August 19, and we caught up with stars Cynthia Kaye McWilliams (Cathy) and Malcolm Barrett (Leon Montgomery) to talk everything from character growth to that Die Hard-inspired stunt sequence.

Season 2 picks up after the explosive events of Season 1, following Joe Washington and his crew to Cape Town after a mysterious threat targets his family. The 8-episode season premieres with two episodes on August 19, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday, and introduces new cast members Katlego Lebogang (Imani) and Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Sipho).
