The Daily Wire Drops Teaser Trailer for Jonathan Majors’ Controversial Action Thriller ‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’

Jonathan Majors is back on screen. The Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro’s conservative media company, released the first teaser trailer Thursday for Run Hide Fight: Infidels, a $5 million action thriller directed by Kyle Rankin from his own screenplay. The film is a follow-up to the 2020 high school siege thriller Run Hide Fight, produced by Dallas Sonnier and his production outfit Bonfire Legend, and shot earlier this year in South Carolina.

Majors plays a Delta Force veteran who, alongside a group of students and a security guard, fights to retake a college campus after what the film’s official logline describes as radical Islamic terrorists seizing a pro-Palestine encampment and enforcing Sharia law. The logline also references a security guard “tired of Uncle Tom smears” and describes the group as a “ragtag band of red-blooded students” fighting to keep America from “surrendering to the enemy on its own soil.”

The ensemble cast includes JC Kilcoyne, David Lucas, Siaka Massaquoi, Justin S. Myrick, Tyler Aser, James Bingham, Savanna Leigh James, Stephen Hailo, Myles Clohessy, Jason Gray-Stanford, Sharon Johal, Erin Davie, Travis Mills and Paulina Alvarez, among others.

Majors does not appear in the teaser itself. The minute-long clip opens with footage from the September 11, 2001 attacks, cuts through images of 2024 campus protests over the war in Gaza, Fox News segments on terror threats, and a clip of Secretary of State Marco Rubio telling the network that “radical Islam has designs openly on the West.” The trailer closes on an ISIS flag flying over a college campus with the tagline, “Coming soon… Or already here?”

As we previously reported, the production was not without turbulence. During filming, Majors and co-star Kilcoyne fell roughly six feet through a tempered glass window on set, an incident that intensified an existing strike by unionized crew members from the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, who cited labor disputes and safety concerns. Producer Sonnier responded to the allegations by stating his company does not negotiate with, in his words, “communists.”

The Daily Wire has positioned itself over the past several years as a parallel distribution pipeline for talent outside of traditional Hollywood, having previously produced films starring Armie Hammer and Gina Carano after her exit from The Mandalorian. Sonnier told Page Six the studio worships at the altar of John Milius, Clint Eastwood and the action films of the 1980s, adding that “the woke mind virus has captured Hollywood for the past 12 years” and that no one else is making these kinds of films anymore.

Sonnier also stated that Majors “loved the script, loved shooting the movie” and is “1,000% behind it,” adding that the actor will do press for the film.

Run Hide Fight: Infidels does not yet have a confirmed release date but is expected this fall.
