Lionsgate dropped the official trailer for Damaged, a mysterious serial killer action thriller led by by Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel.
The film follows Chicago detective Dan Lawson (Jackson), who embarks on a high-stakes mission to Scotland after realizing that a serial killer’s recent crimes match those he investigated five years ago – one of which involved the murder of his girlfriend. While in Scotland he links up with Scottish Det. Glen Boyd (Cassel) to hunt the killer down.
Damaged will be released in April 12th on both on VOD and in theaters. Watch the trailer below.
Kate Dickie, Gianni Capaldi, Laura Haddock, John Hannah, Katie Dickie, and Brian McCardie, Terry McDonagh is directing the film based on a script by Paul Aniello, Gianni Capaldi, and Koji Steven Sakai.
Backing the project are Red Sea Media and BondIt Media Capital, with Red Sea handling sales. Paul Aniello and Roman Kopelevich are producing, while BondIt’s Luke Taylor and Matthew Helderman will serve as executive producers alongside Marcie Sinaiko and Roman Viaris. In a groundbreaking move, Scottish sports streaming company Stream Digital is partnering with Red Sea Media and BondIt Media Capital to bring the film to life, marking their first foray into the world of film production.
