Druski is turning one of his biggest viral moments into a full television series, and bringing Mike Epps along for the ride.
The comedian’s January 2026 sketch “Mega Church Pastors Love Money,” set at the fictional Collect & Praise Ministries, is being developed into “Collect and Praise,” a scripted comedy series launching on both Netflix and YouTube this November. Druski confirmed the project while speaking with Steve Bartlett on The Diary of a CEO, calling it “one of the biggest culture shifting shows of all time.”
“The Collect and Praise show that’s coming out in November, yeah, me and Mike Epps. It’s a show about mega pastors. I did a mega pastors skit,” Druski said. “That was huge, um, and this show is a huge comedic semi-scripted TV show that’ll be coming to Netflix and YouTube.”
The original sketch became a cultural moment almost instantly. In it, Druski played a flashy megachurch pastor descending from the ceiling on wires, in a nod to real-life “flying pastors,” dressed in a Christian Dior blazer and Christian Louboutin shoes, while Kirk Franklin’s 1998 hit “Revolution” played in the background. The bit escalated into an over-the-top sermon and a pitch to raise $4 million for a vague mission trip, ending with the pastor counting stacks of cash and dismissing a struggling church member asking for help. The video pulled in more than 43 million views in its first 24 hours and eventually surpassed 60 million, sparking a broader debate online over whether the sketch crossed a line by mocking sacred spaces or served as necessary satire of financial exploitation in modern megachurches. The bit proved popular enough that Druski later recreated it live to open the 2026 BET Awards.
According to Druski, the path to a full series wasn’t handed to him. He said major platforms, including Netflix, FX, and Amazon, initially passed on his pitch for the show. Rather than wait, he self-funded the project, reportedly spending upwards of $100,000 on the original viral skit alone to prove the concept could work before pitching it as a series. Once the sketch took off online, he said, the same networks that had passed came back around.
Beyond “Collect and Praise,” Druski also revealed he has a new movie in development with Netflix, though he declined to share details. “We just got a movie picked up by Netflix. I can’t speak on what it’s called,” he said, adding that fans should expect to see him “everywhere,” from TV commercials to self-produced films, as he continues building out his slate. “I’m trying to achieve greatness,” he said.
