In a joint statement, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy of Kilter Films expressed their excitement about the renewal and gratitude for the support they’ve received:

“Praise be to our insanely brilliant showrunners, Geneva [Robertson-Dworet] and Graham [Wagner], to our kick-ass cast, to Todd and James and all the legends at Bethesda, and to Jen, Vernon and the amazing team at Amazon for their incredible support of this show,” they said. “We can’t wait to blow up the world all over again.”

Todd Howard, executive producer at Bethesda Game Studios, also shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming season:

“Jonah and team did such an incredible job, and we’re overjoyed not just by the reaction to the show but that we get to work with these amazing people even more.”

The series, based on Bethesda Game Studios’ popular video game franchise, delves into a world divided between privileged individuals in fallout shelters and survivors struggling on the irradiated surface. Characters such as Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, and Maximus, portrayed by Aaron Moten, navigate the complexities of this harsh reality.

“Fallout” has garnered praise not only for its storytelling but also for its talented cast, which includes Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, and others.

Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, highlighted the show’s success in attracting both existing fans of the video game franchise and new audiences, promising further exploration of the series’ unique and immersive world in Season 2.

The renewal of “Fallout” ensures that viewers can anticipate more riveting narratives and character developments as the series continues to captivate audiences with its post-apocalyptic drama.
