Tracee Ellis Ross is packing her bags again. The Roku Channel has set a July 20 premiere for the second season of Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross, the unscripted travel series that became the most-watched unscripted Roku Original ever within its first two weeks of release, measured by unique viewers.
The first season followed Ross through Morocco, Mexico and Spain. Season 2 takes her to Australia, Thailand and Switzerland as she continues to document the joy of traveling alone. “This is me enjoying my own company while I immerse, unplug, and indulge out in the world,” Ross said.

The series is produced by Ross’s Joy Mill Entertainment alongside Artists First and Story Syndicate. Ross, E. Brian Dobbins and Anna Chai executive produce, with Adriana Ambriz and Caroline Soss serving as co-executive producers. Documentary veterans Liz Garbus and Dan Cogan executive produce for Story Syndicate alongside Jon Bardin, Tommy Coriale and Kate Barry.
A six-time Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner best known for nine seasons on ABC’s Black-ish, Ross has a busy stretch ahead. She recently signed a multiyear first-look scripted and overall unscripted deal with Fox Entertainment Studios through Joy Mill Entertainment, and she will make her Broadway debut this summer in Every Brilliant Thing at the Hudson Theatre, with performances running July 7 through August 9.
Season 2 of Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross premieres July 20 on The Roku Channel, available free with no subscription required.
