Amazon Italy provided a sneak peek into their latest international action drama series, ‘Costiera’ featuring Jesse Williams in the lead role.
‘Costiera’ tells the story of Daniel De Luca (played by Williams), a former U.S. Marine of Italian heritage. Daniel returns to the idyllic village of his youth on the stunning Positano coastline, where he takes up a role as a problem solver at one of the world’s most luxurious hotels. While handling the intricate issues of the hotel’s elite guests, Daniel is also on a personal quest to find Alice, one of the owner’s daughters who mysteriously vanished a month earlier. As his investigation deepens, Daniel encounters formidable foes and must confront the kidnappers, testing his skills and resilience like never before.
The series also stars Maria Chiara Giannetta, Jordan Alexandra, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, and Jean-Hugues Anglade.

Directed by Emmy Award-winner Adam Bernstein and Giacomo Martelli, ‘Costiera’ is filmed in English to enhance its global appeal. The six-episode series is the brainchild of Luca Bernabei, with a screenplay crafted by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill, and Francesco Arlanch. Co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Lux Vide, a Fremantle company, ‘Costiera’ is poised to make a significant impact in the streaming world in 2025.
Jesse Williams, best known for his role in ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, not only stars but also produces this highly anticipated series. Williams expressed his excitement about the project, highlighting the unique blend of intelligence, charisma, and humor that his character brings to the storyline.
