‘From’ Season 4 Trailer Unleashes the Man in Yellow as the Town’s Darkest Secrets Begin to Surface

The nightmare is far from over in From.

IGN has exclusively released the official trailer for Season 4 of its mystery-horror series, offering the first chilling look at the return of the ominous Man in Yellow and the increasingly dangerous search for answers inside the town that refuses to let anyone leave.

The upcoming season premieres Sunday, April 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MGM+.

The new trailer—debuted exclusively by IGN—teases a darker chapter for the trapped residents as they move closer to uncovering the truth behind the mysterious township. But as the trailer warns, pushing too hard for answers may come with devastating consequences.

“If we push too hard, something will push back,” a voice ominously warns in the teaser.

The Search for Answers Becomes More Dangerous

Created by John Griffin, From follows the residents of a seemingly ordinary town that traps anyone who enters. Unable to escape, the community struggles to build some form of normal life while surviving nightly attacks from terrifying creatures that emerge from the surrounding forest after sunset.

Season 4 raises the stakes significantly as the town’s residents get closer than ever to understanding the forces controlling their reality.

According to the official synopsis:

“In Season Four, the closer the residents of town get to the answers they seek, the more terrifying their search becomes. Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want?”

The season will also explore whether Jade and Tabitha’s latest discovery could finally provide a path home. At the same time, Boyd—who has long served as the town’s reluctant leader—faces growing pressure as both his physical and mental state begin to deteriorate.

Another mystery also looms: the impact of the town’s newest arrival and the role they may play in whatever comes next.

As the logline teases, Season 4 will “open doors that some in town will end up wishing had remained closed.”

Harold Perrineau Leads the Ensemble Cast

Leading the ensemble once again is Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, the sheriff who has carried the burden of holding the community together since the beginning.

Returning cast members include:

Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Hannah Cheramy, Simon Webster, Ricky He, Chloe Van Landschoot, Corteon Moore, Pegah Ghafoori, David Alpay, Elizabeth Saunders, Avery Konrad, Scott McCord, Nathan D. Simmons, Kaelen Ohm, Angela Moore, A.J. Simmons, Julia Doyle, Robert Joy, and Samantha Brown.

Behind the scenes, Griffin serves as creator and executive producer alongside showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias, Fringe) and director Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones, The Institute). Perrineau also executive produces with Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio. Anthony and Joe Russo and Mike Larocca produce through AGBO.

A New Force Emerges

While previous seasons have slowly revealed pieces of the town’s twisted mythology, the Man in Yellow appears poised to become one of the most significant threats yet.

As the trailer suggests, the town may finally be close to understanding the forces that have trapped them for so long—but that clarity may come with terrifying consequences.
