London’s underworld is more chaotic than ever. Sky has unveiled the action-packed trailer for Gangs of London season 3, setting the stage for another brutal chapter in the award-winning crime saga. The series, led by Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù and Joe Cole, is set to return in March 2025 on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the U.K. However, details on the U.S. premiere via AMC+ have yet to be announced.
This season, the stakes are higher than ever. A spiked cocaine shipment leaves hundreds dead, sending shockwaves through the city’s criminal networks. The fallout forces old enemies and uneasy allies to collide as personal vendettas fuel violent turf wars. Dìrísù’s Elliot Carter, now a top-level player in the game, struggles to maintain control alongside the Dumanis, while Cole’s Sean Wallace faces new threats after escaping custody. Meanwhile, a formidable new authority figure, played by T’Nia Miller (Sex Education), declares a crackdown on organized crime, setting the stage for an all-out war.
Alongside Dìrísù and Cole, season 3 will see the return of Michelle Fairley as Marian Wallace, Lucian Msamati as Ed Dumani, Brian Vernel as Billy Wallace, Narges Rashidi as Lale, Pippa Bennett-Warner as Shannon Dumani, Asif Raza Mir as Asif Afidi, Orli and Eri Shuka as Luan and Mirlinda Dushaj, Jahz Armando as Saba, and Fady Elsayed as Faz. New cast members include Andrew Koji (Warrior), Richard Dormer (Game of Thrones), and guest stars Phil Daniels (EastEnders), Ruth Sheen (Brassic), and Mat Fraser (Kaos).
The critically acclaimed crime drama, based on the 2006 video game of the same name, first premiered in 2020 and quickly earned a reputation as one of British TV’s most intense and violent series. With a relentless mix of high-stakes action and Shakespearean power struggles, Gangs of London has captivated audiences worldwide.
Season 3 is helmed by lead writer Peter McKenna (Kin) and lead director Kim Hong Sun, with Farren Blackburn and Tessa Hoffe also directing. The series is produced by Vice Studio Group’s Pulse Films, with creators Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery continuing their involvement.
While U.K. audiences can expect Gangs of London season 3 to hit Sky Atlantic and NOW in March, U.S. viewers will have to wait for AMC+ to confirm its release date. In the meantime, the new trailer teases the carnage to come—because in the ruthless battle for control of London, no one is safe.
