Genneya Walton, recognized for her roles in “Candy Cane Lane” and “Never Have I Ever,” is set to join the cast of the upcoming Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again.” The Marvel Studios production, featuring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, faced a brief production pause due to a writers’ strike in mid-June, leading to a creative overhaul.

The series, featuring Charlie Cox reprising his role as the blind attorney-turned-superhero Matt Murdock, also brings back familiar faces such as Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal returning as the Punisher. Notably, the production underwent changes during a pause in mid-June, with Dario Scardapane taking over as the new showrunner, replacing Matt Corman and Chris Ord.
