Georgina Campbell is reuniting with Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker for his next Netflix project.
The actress — who starred in Brooker’s acclaimed “Hang the DJ” episode — will appear in the streamer’s untitled four-part detective series alongside Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon) and Lena Headey (Game of Thrones).
The logline describes the project as a “profoundly serious, stunningly original crime thriller,” following a tormented detective from the Northern city of Bleakford who travels to London to catch a ritualistic serial killer before they run out of victims.
Brooker created the series and co-wrote scripts with Ben Caudell, Jason Hazeley, Emer Kenny, Daniel Maier, and Joel Morris, with additional material by Victoria Asare Archer. He serves as executive producer alongside Black Mirror collaborators Annabel Jones and Jessica Rhoades, with Mark Kinsella as co-EP, Richard Webb producing, and Al Campbell directing.
Considine leads the cast, with Headey and Campbell co-starring. Netflix will produce the series directly following Brooker and Jones’ departure from their Netflix-owned company Broke & Bones.
