Apple TV+ has officially unveiled the premiere date and first teaser for season three of Invasion, the cinematic sci-fi drama from producers Simon Kinberg (X-Men, Deadpool, The Martian) and David Weil (Hunters). The 10-episode season premieres globally on Friday, August 22, 2025, with new episodes dropping weekly every Friday through October 24.
Returning for season three are Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza, and Enver Gjokaj, with Erika Alexander joining the cast as a new series regular.
Since its debut, Invasion has stood out for its expansive storytelling—exploring an alien invasion through multiple global perspectives. In season three, those storylines finally converge. The main characters, who once navigated the threat in isolation, must now come together for a unified mission: infiltrate the alien mothership and stop the apex species threatening Earth.
With the aliens spreading faster than ever, the stakes are at an all-time high. The ensemble cast must overcome shattered alliances, forge new bonds, and combine their unique skills to fight for humanity’s survival.
Invasion is created by Kinberg and Weil, who also executive produce alongside Audrey Chon, David Witz, Alik Sakharov, Dan Dietz, Katie O’Connell Marsh, and Nick Nantell.
The show has been praised for its gripping tension, emotional depth, and atmospheric cinematography that “captures the beauty and eeriness” of an otherworldly invasion. Seasons one and two are currently streaming globally on Apple TV+.
