Jahmar Hill Inks Major Deal with Viacom to Produce and Direct a Feature Narrative for BET, BET Plus

Jahmar Hill of Jahmar Hill Productions inks an executive deal with Viacom, to produce & direct a narrative project for BET & BET Plus.

Hill inks this deal in the mix of preproduction of his latest project Sisters, which begins filming next week.

Sisters is written, executive produced and will be directed by Hill. The crime drama stars Lil Mama, Columbus Short, Cocoa Brown, Tobias Truvillion, K.D. Aubert, Andrea-Rachel Parker, Alisa Reyes, De’Aundre Bonds, Jensen Atwood, and Christine Lakin and Produced by Crystal T. Williams, Michelle Brooks of BMG Castings, Monica M. Brown & Sade Whiting.

Sisters tells the story of Diamond and her sisters, Tia and Tara. Raised by their grandmother, their lives are greatly impacted by her influence. When the family learns she has cancer and needs surgery urgently, the sisters need to find a way to come up with enough money quickly. Willing to do anything to save their beloved grandmother’s life, the sisters turn to doing things they don’t want to, but must do.

Hill’s latest project Run, released on VOD October 11th and can be seen on Apple TV & Amazon Prime. Hill other work is Last Love Lost and Fourth Quarter which can be streamed on Amazon Prime and Tubi.

About Jahmar Hill:

Jersey native, Jahmar Hill, is a pioneering director, actor, and producer. Jahmar made his debut into the film industry 2013 at age 24 appearing in several films and television shows. That same year, Jahmar starred in and directed his first executively produced indie film, “Last Love Lost”. Going on to win reputable awards in film festivals with Last Love Lost under his belt, Jahmar landed a distribution and films were placed on Amazon Prime, in addition to being sought and hired to ghost write and direct for production companies. Jahmar began working at Warner Brother Studios as a security guard where he later secured a position within the Production department working on the Emmy Winning TV Show, Lucifer. He soon followed with his second feature film, Fourth Quarter, which premiered in NY for a small theatrical run in theaters on Dec 21, 2018, and is now available on Amazon Prime.
