Paramount+ has officially set Sunday, October 26 for the return of Mayor of Kingstown, and the newly dropped trailer teases a season packed with shifting alliances, deadly turf wars, and plenty of blood on the streets.
Jeremy Renner is back as Mike McLusky, trying to hold onto control of Kingstown after the Russians’ downfall. But this season, fresh faces arrive to shake up the balance of power. Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie) joins as Nina Hobbs, Anchor Bay’s new warden who refuses to bend to Mike’s influence. Laura Benanti (Younger) steps in as rookie correctional officer Cindy Stephens, and Lennie James (Fear the Walking Dead) makes his entrance as Frank Moses, a gangster with deep Detroit ties.
The trailer makes it clear—Mike’s past and present are colliding. With his brother Kyle (Taylor Handley) now behind bars after last season’s explosive finale, every move Mike makes comes at a higher cost. And with new enemies circling, even his closest allies aren’t safe.
The series, co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, continues to be one of Paramount+’s flagship dramas. Returning cast includes Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, and Nishi Munshi. Executive producers include Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, and showrunner Dave Erickson.
The new footage promises tense prison standoffs, emotional family reckonings, and confrontations with dangerous power players. As Falco’s Hobbs warns Mike in the trailer:
“Ocean of blood in your wake—and now, now you can’t do that.”
Season 4 of Mayor of Kingstown begins streaming October 26 on Paramount+.
