Get a First Look at Joy Sunday in HBO’s Limited Series ‘DTF St. Louis’

HBO has unveiled the official trailer for DTF St. Louis, the upcoming seven-episode limited series from creator Steven Conrad (Patriot). The darkly comedic drama premieres Sunday, March 1 at 9 p.m. on HBO and will stream on HBO Max, with new episodes dropping weekly.

Set against the quiet suburbs of Missouri, DTF St. Louis explores a volatile love triangle between three adults grappling with middle-age malaise—one that ultimately ends in murder. Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini lead the series, which opens on the aftermath of Floyd’s (Harbour) death and slowly unravels the tangled relationships that led there.

Joy Sunday appears as part of the ensemble cast alongside Richard Jenkins, Arlan Ruf, Peter Sarsgaard, and Chris Perfetti. While details surrounding her character are being kept under wraps, the trailer positions her within the show’s unsettling, emotionally charged world—one shaped by desire, secrecy, and moral compromise.

Written and directed by Conrad, DTF St. Louis leans into sharp humor and psychological tension, blending suburban banality with darker impulses. Executive producers include Conrad, Bateman, and Harbour, along with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, and MGM Television.

The series finale will air April 12, ahead of the season three premiere of Euphoria, placing DTF St. Louis squarely in HBO’s high-profile Sunday night lineup.

DTF St. Louis premieres March 1 on HBO and HBO Max.
