Kat Graham and Paula Patton Lead Two of Lifetime’s Bold New Faith-Based Films

Lifetime is embracing faith-driven storytelling with a brand-new Saturday-night movie slate — and Kat Graham and Paula Patton are leading two of its titles.

Premiering weekly starting JULY 19, the four-film lineup centers on women who lean on their faith to overcome life-altering obstacles. The slate kicks off with Chrissy Metz in Faith in the Flames: The Nichole Jolly Story, based on the real-life nurse who became a hero during the 2018 Paradise, California wildfire. On JULY 26, Alexa PenaVega stars in Before Your Father Finds Us, a tense drama about a mother protecting her teen daughter from a violent ex.

Then, the spotlight turns to Kat Graham’s If I Run and Paula Patton’s Finding Faith:

Kat Graham Stars in Terri Blackstock’s If I Run — AUGUST 2

Kat Graham leads If I Run, a gripping adaptation of Terri Blackstock’s best-selling Christian suspense novel. She plays Casey Cox, a woman framed for her best friend’s murder who goes on the run — relying on her instincts, intelligence, and growing faith to stay alive and uncover the truth.

Graham, who also executive produces the film, stars opposite Evan Roderick as a private investigator and veteran who begins to question whether Casey is actually innocent. James Tupper also co-stars.

The film is produced by Lighthouse Pictures in association with Fezziwig Studios and directed by Michael M. Scott.

Paula Patton Stars in Finding Faith — AUGUST 9

Paula Patton headlines Finding Faith, an acquired film making its world broadcast debut on Lifetime. Patton plays Faith Mitchell, a woman whose life is upended after her husband’s sudden death. In her grief, she loses her way — and her belief in God — but with the support of her loved ones, she begins a journey of healing and spiritual restoration.

The emotional drama also stars Loretta Devine, Stephen Bishop, Nadine Velazquez, Demetrius Grosse, and Keith David. Directed and written by LazRael Lison, the film is produced by Summer House Pictures and Third Eye Productions, with Patton also serving as producer.

Lifetime’s New Faith-Focused Direction

“With these four new films, we’re stepping into the faith-based space in a way that feels authentic, powerful, and deeply emotional,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP and Head of Programming for Lifetime. “These are stories of healing, hope, and perseverance — and we believe they’ll resonate with anyone who’s ever faced adversity and looked for light in the darkness.”

As Hollywood leans further into faith-based content, Lifetime’s slate offers a uniquely female-led lens on spiritual strength — with Kat Graham and Paula Patton delivering two of its most compelling performances.
