Kelly Jenrette has boarded All the Sinners Bleed, the upcoming Netflix adaptation of All the Sinners Bleed by S. A. Cosby. The Emmy-nominated actress will appear in a recurring guest role as Helen Crown.
The drama is currently filming in Atlanta and comes from Joe Robert Cole, who is adapting the novel, serving as showrunner, executive producer, and directing multiple episodes.
All the Sinners Bleed centers on Titus Crown, the first Black sheriff in a small Bible Belt county. Still grappling with the untimely death of his deeply religious mother, Titus is pulled into a chilling investigation as he hunts a serial killer who has targeted members of his Black community for years — all under the guise of faith.
Jenrette joins a cast led by Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù, with series regulars John Douglas Thompson, Nicole Beharie, Daniel Ezra, Andrea Cortés, Murray Bartlett, and Leila George.
The recurring roster includes Giancarlo Esposito, David Lyons, Donald Elise Watkins, Mackenzie Astin, Jordan M. Cox, Cullen Moss, Angus O’Brien, Cranston Johnson, Christopher Matthew Cook, Christopher Thornton and Bill Oberst Jr.. Amy Madigan will appear as a guest star.
Jenrette is widely recognized for her performance as Annie in The Handmaid’s Tale, which earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. She most recently starred as Amara Patterson on All American: Homecoming and has appeared in series including Grey’s Anatomy, This Is Us, Found and Pitch.
The series is produced by Higher Ground Productions and Amblin Television, continuing Higher Ground’s ongoing partnership with Netflix to bring buzzy literary properties to the screen.
