“Leverage: Redemption Heist-Drama Series Renews for Season Three, Moves to Sister Streamer

Amazon MGM Studios has officially greenlit the third season of the heist-drama series “Leverage: Redemption.” The spin-off show, produced by Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment, is set to make its Season Three debut on Prime Video in 2024.

The series, known for its Robin Hood-esque narrative, follows a team of reformed criminals as they execute intricate cons against corrupt and powerful figures on behalf of clients seeking justice. Starring Aldis Hodge, Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, Noah Wyle, and Aleyse Shannon, “Leverage: Redemption” has garnered a dedicated fan base since its premiere on Amazon’s Freevee.

Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD; unscripted and targeted programming at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed enthusiasm for the show’s next chapter. “Fans have been devoted to ‘Leverage: Redemption,’ showcasing the dynamic between our cast and the triumphant David vs. Goliath stories envisioned by our writers,” Anderson stated. The move to Prime Video aims to provide an even broader audience access to this compelling narrative.

Dean Devlin, executive producer and CEO of Electric Entertainment, also shared his excitement about expanding the “Leverage” franchise in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. “Our dedicated fan base will be delighted to know that they can continue to follow their favorite reformed criminals as they use their expert skills for the greater good, championing the underdog in their acts of goodwill,” Devlin remarked.

Notably, the series’ first two seasons are currently available for streaming on Freevee, along with the original “Leverage” series via Electric Entertainment’s FAST Channel and on-demand. The transition to Prime Video marks a strategic move for the show, emphasizing Amazon’s commitment to offering engaging and high-quality content to its Prime customers.

As John Rogers joins the team as the showrunner and executive producer for Season Three, fans can anticipate new and exciting developments in the narrative.
