The twisted tale of love, jealousy, and obsession arrives on Lifetime this June.
Lifetime has announced The Jealous Bride, a new faith-based thriller starring Amber Stevens West and Michael Xavier, set to premiere Saturday, June 13 at 8/7c.
Stevens West plays Meg, a woman preparing for her wedding whose world is upended when Simone, played by Donna Benedicto, a woman from her fiancé Josh’s past, suddenly reappears. Consumed by jealousy and doubt, Meg spirals into a dangerous obsession that threatens to destroy her love, her faith, and her future.
The Jealous Bride is produced by Navid Soofi for Novus Pictures in association with Studio TF1 America and Shalom Canada Productions. Timothy O. Johnson, Joey Plager, and Meghan Hooper White serve as executive producers. Troy A. Scott directs from a story by Nell Scovell and a script written by Nneka Gerstle.
The film joins a busy June slate for Lifetime that also includes Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery starring Erica Campbell on June 6, Don’t Trust the Girls Upstairs starring Remy Ma on June 20, and Single Black Tenant headlined by Tia Mowry on June 27.
The Jealous Bride premieres Saturday, June 13 at 8/7c on Lifetime.
