As “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” swings into theaters this weekend, the trilogy’s producers have their sights set on the third installment, “Beyond the Spider-Verse.” But that’s not all they have in store.

During the Los Angeles premiere, producer Amy Pascal revealed that a Spider-Woman film and a live-action Miles Morales movie are in the works. She assured fans, “You’ll see all of it. It’s all happening.” Producer Avi Arad added to the excitement, teasing that the “Spider-Woman” movie will arrive sooner than expected.

However, a temporary setback has emerged. Pascal confirmed plans for a fourth “Spider-Man” film with Tom Holland and Zendaya, but the ongoing writers strike has paused development. She expressed confidence, saying, “Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are. We’re in the process, but the writers strike has put a pause on things. We’re all being supportive, and when the strike is resolved, we’ll get started.”

Sony boss Tom Rothman remained tight-lipped about the future, playfully stating, “If I told you, I’d have to kill you.”

In “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” returning stars Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld lend their voices to Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, respectively. Steinfeld expressed her enthusiasm for a standalone “Spider-Woman” movie, calling it a dream job.

Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Justin K. Thompson, and Kemp Powers, the highly anticipated film hits theaters on June 2nd. The star-studded cast includes Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Rachel Dratch, Shea Whigham, Leland “Metro Boomin” Wayne, Ziggy Marley, Ayo Edebiri, and Danielle Perez.

Stay tuned for more updates on the expanding Spider-Man universe, where thrilling adventures await. The web-slinging excitement continues!
