Manny Montana has joined the Season 5 cast of Paramount+’s Tulsa King in a recurring role, playing Gilberto Torres, a gangster whose presence looms large despite never needing to announce it. Through his network on the streets, nothing happens in New York without him knowing.
Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone, who’s released from prison after 25 years only to be exiled by his own boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing his mob family may not have his best interests at heart, Dwight slowly builds a crew from an unlikely group of characters to establish a new criminal empire in a place that feels like another planet to him. Season 4, which premiered last month, found Dwight fighting to legitimize his empire while corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and personal loss hit him from every direction, pulling him back toward the street instincts he thought he’d left behind.
Season 5, currently in production in New York, promotes Scarlet Rose Stallone, who’s played Spencer across all four seasons, to series regular. Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi, and Nickola Shreli also join as series regulars.
Montana brings a résumé spanning Good Girls, where he played Rio, alongside Ironheart, Conviction, Graceland, Westworld, Mayans M.C., Rosewood, and The Following. His film credits include Clint Eastwood’s The Mule and Michael Mann’s Blackhat, opposite Chris Hemsworth and Viola Davis. He’s also set to appear in the upcoming psychological horror thriller The Things We Hide, alongside Lil Rel Howery and Angela Sarafyan.
Terence Winter serves as head writer and executive producer, with Tulsa King also executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly, Aron Gaudet, Gita Pullapilly, and Keith Cox.
With Season 5’s cast now taking shape around a mix of promoted series regulars and new recurring players like Montana, Tulsa King continues expanding Dwight’s world well beyond the smaller, tighter crew the show started with back in Season 1.
