Lionsgate and Universal Pictures have unveiled the official teaser for Michael, the upcoming biographical drama chronicling the life and legacy of Michael Jackson.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by three-time Oscar nominee John Logan, Michael offers an intimate and cinematic portrayal of one of the most influential artists in history. The film traces Jackson’s journey from his early days as the prodigious lead singer of The Jackson 5 to his evolution into a visionary solo performer whose creative drive redefined the boundaries of entertainment. Through both his personal experiences and some of his most iconic performances, Michael invites audiences to witness the man behind the music and the myth.
Starring Jaafar Jackson, the late icon’s nephew, in the title role, the film will feature over 30 of Michael Jackson’s most legendary tracks, creating an immersive musical experience that celebrates his artistry. The ensemble cast includes Colman Domingo, Nia Long, Miles Teller, Larenz Tate, Laura Harrier, Kat Graham, Jessica Sula, Liv Symone, Kendrick Sampson, KeiLyn Durrel Jones, Kevin Shinick, and Derek Luke.
