Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas lineup includes Hearts All Aglow, premiering Friday, December 18, starring Mishael Morgan, B.J. Britt, and Holly Robinson Peete.
The film follows Mari (Morgan), a sharp music historian who scores an invite to the annual Christmas gala for a local music museum with one goal in mind: landing an interview with Tasha (Robinson Peete), the Grammy-winning singer, record producer, and museum founder who rarely grants interviews these days. Also crashing the gala is Julian (Britt), a polished, perpetually busy New York attorney with his own mission. Years earlier, in the emotional aftermath of his mother’s death, Julian donated a piece of sheet music signed by Nat King Cole, a treasured piece of family history, to the museum. Now, with his sister wanting to give the framed keepsake to her daughter for Christmas, Julian is determined to get it back.
When Mari and Julian cross paths at the gala, they team up in pursuit of their respective goals, navigating increasingly chaotic Christmas contests along the way, with the winners earning a personal museum tour from Tasha herself. As the night unfolds, their partnership deepens, and both discover that what they came searching for isn’t necessarily what they needed most.
Hearts All Aglow is part of Hallmark’s biggest Countdown to Christmas yet, kicking off October 16 with 34 original movie premieres, the network’s largest slate to date. This year’s lineup includes Lori Loughlin, Janel Parrish, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Rachael Leigh Cook, Daniella Monet, Lacey Chabert, Christy Carlson Romano, Richard Kind, Andie MacDowell, Ian Harding, and Jonathan Bennett, among others. Season 3 of the network’s original series Mistletoe Murders premieres November 5 and will air new episodes weekly on Thursdays. Hallmark will also air a special, The Hallmark Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday, hosted by Bennett and Melissa Peterman on December 5, offering a preview of what’s coming to the network in the new year.
