Season two of Disney Branded Television’s Emmy® Award-nominated “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” is scheduled to premiere on Friday, February 2, at 8:00 p.m. EST on Disney Channel and Disney XD, featuring two episodes. On Saturday, February 3, the initial set of season two episodes will be accessible on Disney+, while the first season is currently available for streaming.
Adapted from Marvel’s popular comic books, the series chronicles the escapades of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex companion, Devil Dinosaur, as they safeguard her Lower East Side neighborhood from various threats.
The show stars Diamond White as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl), Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur, Libe Barer as Casey, Alfre Woodard as Mimi, Sasheer Zamata as Adria, Jermaine Fowler as James Jr., Gary Anthony Williams as Pops, and executive producer Laurence Fishburne as The Beyonder.
In the upcoming season, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur embrace their roles as superheroes. However, as Moon Girl’s superhero responsibilities become more entwined with her personal life, she faces the dilemma of deciding if keeping her identity a secret is worth the toll it takes on her family.
New additions to the cast for season two include Cynthia Erivo, Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, SungWon Cho, Andy Garcia, Arsenio Hall, Ann Harada, Jackée Harry, Manny Jacinto, Carol Kane, Xolo Maridueña, Alex Newell, Edward James Olmos, Parker Posey, Ephraim Sykes, David Tennant, Robin Thede, and Peter Weller.

The series’ executive music producer, GRAMMY Award® winner Raphael Saadiq, leads the production of the “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Season 2 Original Soundtrack.” Released by Walt Disney Records on February 2, the soundtrack comprises 12 songs from the new season.
Produced by Disney Television Animation, the series is executive produced by Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland’s Cinema Gypsy Productions, along with Steve Loter. Rodney Clouden and Pilar Flynn serve as co-executive producers, Kate Kondell as co-executive producer and story editor, Halima Lucas as co-producer and story editor, Ben Juwono as co-producer and supervising director, and Rafael Chaidez as the producer.
