The courtroom drama continues as ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ returns for its third season on Netflix this October. Fans of the series can mark their calendars for October 17, 2024, when Manuel Garcia-Rulfo reprises his role as Mickey Haller, Los Angeles’ charismatic and unconventional defense attorney.
Based on Michael Connelly’s bestselling series, season 3 of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ will delve into The Gods of Guilt, the fifth book in the franchise. The show follows Haller, an idealistic lawyer who runs his practice from the back seat of his Lincoln, taking on a range of cases across the sprawling city of Los Angeles. This season, Haller faces one of his toughest legal battles yet.
Joining Garcia-Rulfo is a familiar ensemble cast, Becki Newton as Lorna, Jazz Raycole as Izzy, Angus Sampson as Cisco and Yaya DaCosta as Andrea Freemann. The recurring cast also includes Neve Campbell, Elliott Gould, Krista Warner, Fiona Rene and Devon Graye.
The new season welcomes Merrin Dungey, Michael Irby, Maisie Klompus, Allyn Moriyon, Wolé Parks, John Pirruccello, Philip Anthony-Rodriguez, with Jon Tenney returning.
The show’s creation for television was spearheaded by David E. Kelley, with Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez serving as co-showrunners and executive producers alongside Kelley, Connelly, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, and Tana Jamieson.

Although Neve Campbell’s involvement in season 3 was uncertain, it has been confirmed that she will reprise her role as Maggie McPherson, albeit in a potentially limited capacity. With her character now based in San Diego, her presence in the storyline might be confined to mentions or brief interactions, adding another layer of intrigue to the season.
The budget for the series continues to reflect its high production values, with each episode reportedly costing between $3 and $5 million. Filming remains rooted in Los Angeles, a setting that plays a crucial role in the show’s narrative.
Season 2 of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer,’ released in two volumes in July and August 2023, performed well on Netflix, landing in the top 10 for eight weeks and amassing 235.10 million hours watched globally.
