Adult Swim is expanding its late-night lineup with a new animated comedy that blends futuristic absurdity with raw, relatable storytelling. Oh My God… Yes! A Series of Extremely Relatable Circumstances is set to premiere Sunday, March 9, at 12:15 a.m. PT/ET, delivering a unique take on womanhood in a tech-driven, not-so-distant future.

Created by Emmy-nominated writer and executive producer Adele “Supreme” Williams (My Dad the Bounty Hunter), the quarter-hour series follows three women—Sunny, Tulip, and Ladi—who navigate the complexities of life in South Central L.A. with a sci-fi twist. Executive produced by Dominique Braud (The Simpsons) and produced by Six Point Harness, the show promises a bold mix of humor, satire, and cultural commentary.

“Usually when someone uses a futuristic setting to comment on the present, it’s a brooding downer,” said Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen. “But Adele has made a future that is both plausible, relatable, and most importantly, unique and hilarious.”

Williams, who grew up in South Central L.A., infused the series with a hyper-stylized yet authentic depiction of the neighborhood. “The series is ripe with unconventional characters, and the geography of the world honors that of the South Central I grew up in, but with a sci-fi twist,” Williams shared. “The scenarios our characters wind up in are pretty absurd, but within the absurdity is a smart, bold exploration of—and commentary on—the human condition.”

Adult Swim will debut Oh My God… Yes! with back-to-back episodes on premiere night, followed by a new episode every Sunday. Episodes will also be available for streaming Mondays on Max.

A fresh take on futuristic comedy? A Black woman-led animated series? A sci-fi twist on South Central L.A.? We’re already saving the date.
