Paramount+ has renewed Tulsa King for a fifth season ahead of the show’s fourth season premiere on October 16. Production on Season 5 is already underway, with the series relocating from Atlanta to New York to align with a storyline that sends Dwight “The General” Manfredi back to his mafia roots.
The new season brings a cast shift alongside the location change. Scarlet Rose Stallone, who has played Spencer across all four seasons, has been upped to series regular, joining new series regulars Erik Palladino, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Skordi, and Nickola Shreli. Character details for the new additions haven’t been released. Drew Brown, EVP of Physical Production at Paramount Television Studios, said the move to New York lets Dwight’s story keep evolving while crediting Georgia as an important production hub for the studio going forward. New York Empire State Development President Hope Knight also welcomed the production, citing the state’s film tax credit program as a draw for projects like this one.
Ahead of that Season 5 shift, Season 4 premieres October 16 on Paramount+. The new season follows Dwight as he works to legitimize his empire and protect his crew while facing corrupt politicians, new enemies, and a significant personal loss, pulling him back into the street instincts he left behind in New York years ago. Season 4 stars Sylvester Stallone alongside Jay Will, Martin Starr, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak, Neal McDonough, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. Gretchen Mol joins this season as a new series regular.
Terence Winter serves as head writer and executive producer, alongside Taylor Sheridan, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly, and Keith Cox. Tulsa King is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
With Season 5 already filming before Season 4 has even aired, Paramount+ is clearly betting that Tulsa King’s momentum will carry straight through the location change and the new faces joining Dwight’s crew.
