The film industry is gearing up for one of its biggest celebrations as CinemaCon has unveiled the honorees for its 2026 Big Screen Achievement Awards.
Set to take place April 16 at the Dolby Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the ceremony will close out the annual convention with a star-studded night honoring some of the most influential names in film. Among those recognized this year are Queen Latifah and LaKeith Stanfield, alongside James Cameron, Zoey Deutch, Adam Scott, Noah Centineo, and Catherine Lagaʻaia.
The Big Screen Achievement Awards celebrate the talent shaping today’s theatrical landscape—both in front of and behind the camera—while reinforcing the cultural and creative power of the moviegoing experience. Hosted by Nischelle Turner and presented by The Coca-Cola Company, the ceremony remains a cornerstone event of CinemaCon.
“Our industry is at its best when those in it come together to celebrate the power of seeing a movie on the big screen,” said Michael O’Leary, president and CEO of Cinema United. “The films from this year’s honorees will undoubtedly capture the imaginations of audiences around the world, and we are proud to honor their achievements.”
Each honoree will receive a distinct award recognizing their impact:
- James Cameron will receive the Spirit of the Industry Award, honoring his groundbreaking contributions to modern filmmaking.
- Queen Latifah will be recognized for Cultural Impact in Film, celebrating her decades-long influence across music, television, and cinema.
- LaKeith Stanfield will take home Star of the Year, continuing his run as one of the most dynamic actors of his generation.
- Zoey Deutch will receive the Vanguard Award for her evolving and versatile career.
- Adam Scott will be honored with the Award of Excellence in Acting.
- Noah Centineo will receive the Star of Tomorrow Award as he transitions into larger-scale projects.
- Catherine Lagaʻaia will be named Rising Star of 2026 ahead of her feature debut.
As CinemaCon wraps its four-day run, the Big Screen Achievement Awards will once again spotlight the artists and innovators driving the future of theatrical storytelling—bridging established icons with the next generation of talent shaping what’s next on the big screen.
