Prime Video dropped the first official trailer for Reacher Season 4 during San Diego Comic-Con, and Jack Reacher is already neck-deep in trouble before the season even begins. The new season premieres August 12 on Prime Video.
The trailer opens with Reacher riding the subway when he witnesses a woman take her own life right in front of him. The police immediately pin the incident on him and Reacher slips away, refusing to accept what happened at face value. His search for answers leads him to the woman’s brother, played by Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette, who insists his sister did not kill herself. Together they begin pulling on a thread that unravels into a sprawling criminal conspiracy reaching the highest echelons of power, with increasingly dangerous forces warning Reacher to walk away. That is not exactly his style.
The trailer also teases a new romance for Reacher, with singer and actress AGNEZ MO joining the cast as a young journalist who becomes more than just another ally in the investigation.
Season 4 adapts Lee Child’s thirteenth Jack Reacher novel, Home Tomorrow. The series also stars Sydelle Noel, Chris Marquette, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Roberston. The season is directed by Sam Hill, Omar Madha and Carol Banker.
Comic-Con also brought the first look at the upcoming spinoff Neagley, following Maria Sten’s Frances Neagley as she teams up with her private investigation crew to hunt down those responsible for the death of a close friend. Neagley Season 1 premieres September 16 on Prime Video.
