The courtroom drama is heating back up. Reasonable Doubt, the critically acclaimed legal thriller from Onyx Collective, will officially return to Hulu for its third season on September 18, and we’ve got a first look at what’s ahead.
Series star Emayatzy Corinealdi returns as powerhouse defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, and this season, she’s joined by a mix of familiar faces and major new players. Returning cast members include McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey, with Morris Chestnut reprising his role as Corey Cash.
Joining the cast this season are Joseph Sikora, Kyle Bary, Brandee Evans, Richard Brooks, April Parker Jones, Keith Arthur Bolden, Rumer Willis, and Kash Doll.
Season 3 picks up after Jax managed to save her best friend from a life sentence and distance herself from a deadly affair. For the first time in a long time, her life is calm — maybe too calm. But with Ozzie’s case threatening to blow up in the press and an ambitious new colleague eyeing her position at the firm, Jax is once again fighting to stay afloat — professionally, personally, and emotionally.
Sikora steps into the role of Bill Sterling, a former Coast Guard vet who pivoted to law later in life and now works alongside Jax at her firm, Binder, Hurwitz & Stewart. His ambition to make partner puts him in close proximity to Jax, and not just in the boardroom.
Bary in the recurring role of Ozzie — a former child star with a squeaky-clean image and a messy new problem. When he finds himself facing a legal scandal that could wreck his next big franchise role, he turns to Jax for help. What starts as a chance to break up the monotony of her newly balanced life quickly spirals into high-stakes chaos.
Created by Raamla Mohamed, Reasonable Doubt continues to blend legal intrigue with deeply personal storytelling. Mohamed executive produces alongside Kerry Washington and Pilar Savone under their Simpson Street banner, with Larry Wilmore via Wilmore Films, Anton Cropper, Lena Cordina, and others. The series is produced by 20th Television as part of Disney Television Studios.
Season 3 promises a rollercoaster of betrayal, ambition, and legal fireworks — and with a cast this stacked, things are bound to get messy.
