La La Anthony, Rutina Wesley, DeVaughn Nixon, and Alexxis Lemire have joined the upcoming season of the Onyx Collective legal drama Reasonable Doubt in recurring roles. They come into a cast already strengthened by previously announced additions Taylor Polidore Williams, along with new series regulars Durrell “Tank” Babbs and Meagan Good.
They’ll be stepping into the orbit of returning series regulars Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey, as the show continues to center on the volatile life of high-powered defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart.
Created by Raamla Mohamed Hunter, Reasonable Doubt follows Jax Stewart (Emayatzy Corinealdi), a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney whose personal and professional lives are constantly colliding. Between past trauma, marriage struggles, motherhood, and high-profile cases, Jax is always one misstep away from losing control.
Season 4 finds Jax and The Stewart Firm reeling after a brutal attack shakes their foundation. With the firm newly established and already under pressure, a spiraling media scandal involving Jax’s most loyal client pushes them into a high-stakes legal war where reputation, survival, and loyalty are all on the line. As grief settles in and tensions rise, Jax is forced to confront whether rebuilding is even possible—or if moving too fast will destroy everything she’s fought to create.
Returning guest stars Morris Chestnut, Joseph Sikora, and Brandee Evans are also set to reprise their roles this season.
