Ryan Michelle Bathé and Morena Baccarin are set to co-lead an untitled bank heist drama pilot for NBC.
The project hails from Nick Wootton and Jake Coburn; Julie Plec’s My So-Called Company; and Universal TV, a division of Universal Studio Group.

The yet-to-be titled bank heist pilot centers on a criminal mastermind, Elena Federova (Baccarin), who orchestrates a number of coordinated bank heists throughout NYC for a mysterious purpose. It also centers on Val Fitzgerald (Bathé), a principled, relentless and socially outcast FBI agent who will stop at nothing to foil Elena’s ambitious plan. The sexy and twisted heist show reveals how far some people will go for love, justice and the most valuable commodity in the world: the truth.
Justin Lin is directing the pilot based on a script written by Wootton. Lin and Andrew Schneider executive produce via Lin’s Perfect Storm Entertainment. Wootton will also executive-produce, along with Jake Coburn and Julie Plec with her producing partner Emily Cummins at My So-Called Company. Universal Television is the studio.

Bathé recently recurred as attorney Rachel Audubon on the CBS legal drama All Rise and in the Amazon Prime love story Sylvie’s Love. She also costars on the BET+ comedy First Wives Club. Her other credits include This Is Us, Empire, Army Wives and The Rookie.
Baccarin’s credits include Fox’s Batman prequel Gotham, the Showtime thriller, Homeland, V, The Good Wife and The Mentalist. She has also co-starred opposite Ryan Reynolds in the Deadpool films.
