Sarah Niles has joined the cast of Apple Studios’ untitled F1 pic starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris
Joseph Kosinski is set to direct with Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem and Tobias Menzies also attached to star.

Kosinski will not only steer the film’s creative direction but also produce the feature alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman of Jerry Bruckheimer Films. Seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton, through his Dawn Apollo banner, and Plan B, with Copper CEO Penni Thow as executive producer, are also key players in bringing this adrenaline-pumping F1 tale to life.

Brad Pitt takes center stage as a former driver returning to the racing world with the fictional team APXGP, where Damson Idris portrays his teammate. In an unexpected twist, Niles will take on the role of Idris’ mother in this high-speed drama.
This collaboration marks a reunion for Sarah Niles and Apple, following their successful partnership on the streaming platform’s hit series, “Ted Lasso,” for which Niles received an Emmy nomination for her standout role as the therapist for the soccer team AFC Richmond. Niles, who recently completed filming for the Amazon Studios movie “Head Of State” opposite Idris Elba, has been making waves with her diverse roles in projects like Netflix’s “The Sandman” and Amazon Studios’ “Riches.” She is also set to captivate audiences in the Legendary Entertainment feature “The Toxic Avenger” alongside Taylour Paige, Peter Dinklage and Kevin Bacon.
