Tyler Perry’s latest comedy series She The People officially has a release date — and it’s coming in two waves.

Netflix announced that Part 1 of the series will debut on May 22, 2025, with Part 2 arriving August 14, 2025. Alongside the announcement, the streamer also released a first-look image of Terri J. Vaughn in the lead role as Antoinette Dunkerson, a newly elected lieutenant governor balancing public service and personal chaos.

The series also stars Jade Novah, Drew Olivia Tillman, Tré Boyd, Dyon Brooks, and Jo Marie Payton.

Created, written, and directed by Perry, She The People also brings in former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms as executive producer, alongside Niya Palmer, with Angi Bones and Tony Strickland producing for Tyler Perry Studios.

The story follows Antoinette’s journey post-election as she navigates a workplace riddled with sexism and a family thrown into the spotlight. With Perry behind the camera and Vaughn at the helm onscreen, She The People promises a timely mix of satire, character-driven comedy, and cultural commentary.

Stay tuned — the official trailer is expected to drop soon.
