‘Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter’ Sets Premiere Date on Lifetime

The final installment of Single Black Female is set to premiere on Lifetime on Saturday, March 22, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter will bring a dramatic conclusion to the thrilling saga, featuring series franchise stars Raven Goodwin, Amber Riley, and K. Michelle with Porsha Williams and Kennedy Chanel joining for the third film.

This latest installment picks up where the previous movie left off, with Monica (Raven Goodwin) finally exonerated after being wrongfully convicted of murder. While her legal freedom has been restored, the battle for her personal and professional life is just beginning. The shadow of suspicion still hangs over her, and regaining the trust of those around her will prove to be a relentless struggle.

Meanwhile, the franchise’s core tension intensifies as Simone (Amber Riley), now a fugitive, seeks refuge in a convent in Mexico. But when a disturbing nightmare convinces her that her daughter Joy (Kennedy Chanel) is in danger, Simone decides it’s time to return to Houston for a final showdown with her estranged half-sister Monica. As old grudges resurface and emotions run high, fans can expect an explosive reunion.

K. Michelle is also set to return as Monica’s loyal best friend, Bebe, further adding to the drama that’s been unfolding over the past two films. Williams will step into the role of Detective Ebony Williams, as the dramatic franchise wraps up its thrilling tale.

The Single Black Female franchise, which began with Single Black Female in 2022, has enjoyed tremendous success, averaging over 8 million viewers across linear and digital platforms. The movie became the top-rated original non-holiday film on Lifetime that year, with a sequel, Single Black Female 2: Simone’s Revenge, premiering in 2024. Based on the 1992 thriller Single White Female, itself adapted from John Lutz’s 1990 novel SWF Seeks Same, the franchise has captivated audiences with its twists, turns, and intense character dynamics.

Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter is produced by Swirl Films for Lifetime. Executive producers include Raven Goodwin, Karen Peterkin, Monique Nash, Korin Williams, Eric Tomosunas, and Ty Walker, with Keena Ferguson directing from a script by Sa’Rah L. Jones and Tessa Scott. Fans can expect a gripping conclusion to this thrilling saga, with an unforgettable performance from Williams alongside the already beloved cast.
